Sure I could use video filters to make myself look like a fish or space pirate or whatever filters are setup on zoom, but I decided it would be more fun if I could mount a kaleidoscope to the webcam on the front of my laptop, and bonus points that it gave me a reason to learn more about freecad. So I designed a part, printed it out, and now I have a kaleidoscope mount. Some people think you should be required to have your video turned on during a call, and now I can oblige them.
I think a V2 would add another pair of screw under the first set to help prevent it from flaring
out at the bottom, and maybe some felt on the front and back parts to be nicer to the screen.
Also, the green dot that shows up comes from the led that tells you that the camera is on.
